Removing libvirt from CentOS 8.1 running as Samba Active Directory Domain Controller

libvirt provides dnsmasq, which interferes with Samba's internal DNS backend or BIND9 DNS backend. Hence it has to be removed.

# systemctl stop libvirtd

# systemctl disable libvirtd
