I want to complain.


I think now singaporeans pmet want to find blue collar job also difficult already.


My friend is not even a pmet. He just do admin job earn 2k plus a month and is 40 years old


He applied a waiter job by whatsapp. The interviewer just ask him in whatsapp his nationality, age, got experience in f&b etc


During the online interview, he say he only work part time in f&b during school holidays. The interviewer says i don't know if you can tahan the long standing hours, than say they still got other candidates and will get back to him if he is selected. Than never get back liao.


Anyone here encounter such situation when you apply for blue collar jobs?


They don't hire you because they think you cannot tahan standing for long, you won't work long in the job and will leave once you get another pmet job etc.


During interview, when they ask you why you want to apply for this job - i think they won't accept you even if you say the truth that you got no ambition and are just looking for a stable job to pay your bills, in sg once you are above you should settle down with blue collar jobs etc?
