40 year old University graduate in Singapore bought Android phone, camera and laptop by Installment Plans/Hire Purchase

Only the poor acquire assets by using installment plans/hire purchase. Mr. Teo En Ming, a 40 year old National University of Singapore (NUS) graduate, bought Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Android phone, Nikon B700 4K compact camera, and Acer Aspire E5 laptop a few years ago by using installment plans/hire purchase from Courts Megastore in Singapore.

Since Teo En Ming is a 40 year old University graduate from NUS, why is he unable to purchase electronic gadgets in one lump sum? The reason is because he is a Targeted Individual. Targeted Individuals are people who are persecuted, targeted, and marked by the government. The government forbids Targeted Individuals from earning a lot of money. Hence Teo En Ming has to buy Android phone, camera and laptop on installment plans/hire purchase, despite being a very well-educated University graduate. Many people in Singapore can afford to buy bungalows, condos, luxury cars, Rolex watches, and other branded goods and travel around the world frequently without giving any thought but Teo En Ming simply can't.

Teo En Ming graduated from NUS with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Second class lower honours) in 2006. Besides having a university degree, he has earned a Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering with MERIT from Singapore Polytechnic in 1998 and another Diploma in Computer Networking with 4 Distinctions from Singapore Polytechnic in 2017. A university graduate with 2 polytechnic diplomas in Singapore has to live in poverty. Isn't it an irony?

Teo En Ming offended Emperor Lee Kuan Yew in the year 2007 and 2009 respectively in private conversations, albeit un-intentionally. And this was many many years before Roy Ngerng Yi Ling and Amos Yee Pang Sang came along. If you are being punished by the government, obviously you will never be allowed to become rich. Obviously you don't need to be a super genious to realize this hard truth. Governments don't allow Targeted Individuals to earn a lot of money. The rule that was laid down by governments for Targeted Individuals is that Targeted Individuals must live in poverty forever.
