Omega-3 fish oil with DHA and EPA is very good at lowering triglycerides. Above table of lab test results (lipid panel) confirmed this.
Taking Lecithin alone is ineffective at reducing LDL (bad cholesterol).
When I took Eu Yan Sang High Strength CholesFREE Red Yeast Rice together with Lecithin, LDL (bad cholesterol) dropped from 4.63 to 3.59.
After finishing one box of Eu Yan Sang High Strength CholesFREE Red Yeast Rice with 60 capsules, I stopped taking it and relied on Lecithin alone. But LDL increased from 3.59 to 4.89. This shows that I need to restart taking Eu Yan Sang High Strength CholesFREE Red Yeast Rice with effect from 9th September 2019 to effectively reduce LDL (bad cholesterol).
Omega-3 fish oil is very good at reducing triglycerides.
<QUOTE>Lecithin supplements have also shown promise in lowering cholesterol. In a 2008 study, participants took 500 milligrams (mg) of soy lecithin a day. After 2 months, the average total cholesterol was reduced by 42 percent, and LDL cholesterol was reduced by 56.15 percent.</QUOTE>
