Subject: [Gaia.com] Did This Man Live To Be 256 Years Old? Li Ching-Yuen, a 7-ft tall herbalist and Qigong practitioner, died in 1933. Investigators found birth records attesting that he was born in 1677, making him 256 years old. Li himself said he was born in 1734, which would make him 197 at the time of his death. At age 10, Li began work as an herbalist, foraging for his own wares. He ate a diet of mostly herbs, goji berries, and rice wine. Li claimed he learnt his herb based diet and special Qigong exercises from a 500-year-old man. In 1749, at 71 years old, he joined the Chinese army as a martial arts instructor. According to his obituary, he married 23 times and produced over 200 descendants. When asked about his secret to longevity, he said: "Keep a quiet heart, sit like a tortoise, walk sprightly like a pigeon and sleep like a dog." Li's last words were: "I have done all that I have to do in this world." Link: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbi...
