Subject: Sharing my experience of using PhotoRec data recovery software on Fedora Workstation 33 Linux Our photography group of 2 photographers had a photo shoot session with a super pretty model at Orchard Gateway, Singapore on 2nd Jan 2021 Saturday at 5 pm. After the photo shoot, which lasted 2 hours, I went home and proceeded to transfer the photos and 4K videos to my home Windows 10 desktop computer. To my horror, my SD card became corrupted after I keep encountering I/O error trying to copy a MP4 file. After trying to repair the corrupted SD card using chkdsk, my SD card became empty. There are no photos and videos inside my SD card at all! Shocked, I hurriedly bought EaseUS data recovery software (1 month subscription) for about SGD$100. But the software did not work. Recovered photos cannot be viewed. Recovered 4K videos cannot be played back. I have wasted SGD$100 on an useless piece of software.
